Info: Brief canon blurb aside, Melissa is just rolling with the punches. She is generally easy going, but not polite. Foul mouthed and competitive, she's very much a poster child of "Kind, but Not Nice".
Game Plans: Right now Melissa is just trying to make a network of friends and sparring buddies. She wields a sword that is somewhere between a rapier and an estoc.

Info: Emperor who is full of JUSTICE and REBELLING AGAINST STATUS QUO now has no idea what to do with herself since she cannot fly into battle or have a goal to overwork herself on. Tragic past, dragon blood is slowly killing her but gives her superhuman power, and short but beefy ax wielder who is also proficient in swords and can dabble in magic.
Game Plans: I eventually want to touch upon the fact that she has NO DOMESTIC SKILLS WHATSOEVER. As imperial heir she was never taught laundry, cooking, cleaning, etc and she needs A Job. She also likes to practice are but she's NOT VERY GOOD AT IT because she never really had time to hone the skill.
Seeking: Supernatural or non-human CR because she has some bad experiences with them and I'd like to turn that around (esp dragons), people to teach her domestic skills, models for her painting or skilled artists to mentor her. People who will teach her how to have fun and get her involved in shenanigans.

Hello did someone say supernatural? Kaito is the unfortunate recipient of one (1) dragon god's (Ryujin) blood—but he currently isn't aware of it... However he is very much aware of his own domestic skills and could (possibly) teach her how to cook egg (one single egg) or not burn the laundry while trying to wash it. He's also brand new and will also need A Job™

Look when your only upbringing after the age of 9 is THE BLADE™ and battle tactics you miss out on some key life skills.

Also good luck with that her route was made dead last because they tacked it on mid-development only because play-testers got attached to her.

I love the no life skills trope though, so it's good. we're blessed. well, mostly blessed. the kitchen's about to become a war zone.

also NO am I about to experience the same emotions as when I played kasane's route in scarlet nexus am I about to be Angry

Anger? Maybe. Frustration? More than likely. Her route is a couple chapters shorter because of it, and she doesn't get to do some of the things she should have been able to/it's mostly alluded to in End Cards rather than gameplay. Honestly my favorite order to play is Azure Moon (Blue Lions) > Crimson Flower (Black Eagles) > Verdant Wind (Golden Deer). Azure Moon lies down an emotional foundation, Crimson Flower expands on the lore, and Verdant Wind provides a satisfying ending to cap off the game.

Silver Snow (Church Route) is the route that could have been an email because it mirrors Verdant Wind quite closely. Word of God says it was supposed to be the original route, which looking at it all... seems like the developers wanted you to have a Bad End Route first so you'd be determined to make everyone else happier in the other routes.

that's interesting to know. I'm actually still on my first playthrough but I enjoy having a nice storytelling order to things so I think I'll follow that and see how it all plays out

...I also wouldn't be surprised tbh I'm a bit of a sucker for the sucker punch routes giving you bad ends first lmao
