Yes good I think Sigma should. Because everyone deserves to be able to pet a cat. You can't be sad while petting a cat. Also no one can say no to a cat. It's fact?

Also is it really rescuing when Chuuya is x10000 more dangerous and also angry

Precisely. Sigma has more than earned some time petting a cat. Even if the cat is a vampire cat and he might be able to figure it out because of his ability, I just realized.

Also at least Chuuya might not know what Poe looks like/connect him to the book he got sucked into??? Maybe???

Sjnckek I leave it up to your whether Chuuya knows better or not. Either way Poe will sweat a little. That or maybe he can come across the book being used in action because of the oni attacks 👀?

also I am game for whatever's most fun for you on what Chuuya knows! It could be funny for him to start out clueless, or it could be funny for him to see him using a book and connect the dots. Whichever you prefer, i'll have tons of fun with either.
