The Cat Returns

Use this post to plot for the event!
For those who weren't present for the March 2022 event, here is a brief recap:
In March 2022, Refugees with cat-like features were kidnapped to Shikoku by Bakeneko ninja. This was a plot by their leader, Tama (the Kaibyo), to try and use Kizuna to lift Shikoku's curse. When the experiment was deemed a failure, they were allowed to leave with a rescue team unharmed, though some experienced bouts of amnesia afterward.
Shikoku's curse causes anyone who stays on the island to slowly lose all memories of their past life, and will also slowly transform them into a Bakeneko. Those who manage to leave will be freed from the curse, but those left behind on the island will forget they ever existed.
Those who transform into Bakeneko not change in height (even though Bakeneko are between 3-4 feet tall), and are thus easily identifiable. Most of them live in towns near the sea. Undoing the curse will cause them to change back and regain their memories, allowing them to return home.

Before I plot, does that include Jubilee's mutant powers? They aren't - technically - supernatural but they are her powers from her homeworld. I'm cool either way, just wanted to get clarification first.

Special Skill: Juggling anything that can be reasonably juggled, anything from balls and fruit to knives and flaming torches. Basically if it's small enough and not alive, he can and will juggle it.

Catchphrase: Nothing specific, except for an embarrassing amount of flower or music-based puns. Most of them are terrible.
Special Skill: Singing and playing as many instruments as possible. She defaults to cello and piano, but one of her acts is picking up something she hasn't played before (by audience choice) and performing a piece within an hour.

• He's already a catboy thanks to Kizuna, so the risk of becoming even more cat is not something he wants to take! I'm def up for random room shenanigans complete with snuggles and smooches to keep from being cursed.
• He'll be Twin Idols with his twin sister Lumine! Other than that, I know I wanna do crossdressing things! Someone please play chicken with him on the stage, he'll probably go pretty far before backing down.
• Infiltration fun times?? Honestly, I'm mostly here for some really wild and desperate smut, like Aether just getting on his knees to blow someone or grinding into their lap in front of everyone. But goofy things like flirting past the guards while in drag would be fun too!
• DOGGO HOT SPRINGS pls. Maybe some fun times in the showers or in the private baths?

• Ranpo is 100% gonna ask to go to Shikoku so he can enjoy a relaxing boat ride with some cat pirates, and maybe mock anyone who got caught because he's an asshole sometimes.
• He'll probably wear a horrible mascot suit as his Idol look, and his theme will be his own lazy and rude personality. Let him be the boke to someone's tsukkomi!
• No infiltration for him, but he'll be there waiting to help anyone walk back if they need it, possibly in a way that implies he knew they'd need it.

💀 Thanatos will not be going to the cat island again after last time, because he honestly might end up killing someone. It's really for the best. No one really wants to find out if cats have nine lives.
🔥🦅🍷 Diluc, Vennessa and Red Wine will make their way there after asking for a ride. No kidnapping for these three, fake or otherwise, because people would end up getting hurt trying and no one wants that.
🌠 Raphael can teleport. He'll show up as and when he wants to. He can also take a passenger or two if someone decides they don't fancy getting near the port (or if they're just seasick).

🔥 Diluc has plenty of friends here that he can hold the hand of during the day, but he's likely to have a relatively poor reaction to having to room with a stranger. If it's someone he really doesn't want to be around, good luck keeping him in the room (locks can't stop him!) but I'm good to plot anything with friends or strangers for the potential lock-ins.
🦅🍷 Red and Venn are more openly friendly and won't mind sharing a room with a stranger at all if anyone fancies some new CR there. Friends/acquaintances are always good tho.
🌠 Raph, being well aware of how the curse works, isn't keen to have it start affecting him again. He won't be sticking around at night unless someone he knows asks him to, and he also can't actually be contained into a room with a lock.

🔥🦅🍷🌠 Following infiltration (all looking v. fancy and all) I'm open to hella powerful kizuna effects and also to any of these four needing to defend themselves against other people who are going crazy trying to defend the tree while the talismans are removed.
🌠 Raphael in particular is a good candidate to keep basically anyone down if he has to, though he's also someone who shies away from combat/causing harm. If anyone feels like it, I would love to push him a bit here.
🍷🌠 When supernatural abilities are removed, Red Wine and Raphael are the two most likely to feel very disoriented by the change. Raphael in particular is most likely to panic given how integral his powers and abilities are to what he is. Please haul him out of there before he has a meltdown.

🔥🦅🍷🌠 I always love a hot springs prompt. Everyone will be getting in on this particularly with the assurance that there is nothing weird or magical about the water. Open to plotting stuff for the smaller, more spicy springs and also private room shenanigans.

• Will be going to help, and participating in the idol stuff.
• Actually decent at singing, so that'll be a Thing. Still need to find an idol outfit, but the idea of him wrestling someone in a tub of whipped cream while in a dress is hilarious so! Plot with me. Also a game of chicken? Hell yes.
• When it comes to the infiltration, Chuuya will first get hit with strong kizuna effects that induce heat. Absolutely here to plot out wild frantic make outs or sex.
• But eventually he'll succumb to the twisted thoughts the tree is inducing, fighting back to protect the tree. This is where things get dicey, because--
The strength of the tree's compulsion will push Chuuya to protect the tree with his life, and in Chuuya's case, that means eventually using the strongest aspect of his ability: Corruption. He is extremely strong and dangerous when he does this, able to alter gravity without touching and create blackholes, but most importantly, has almost self-control. Please plot with me if you want this option, otherwise regular fights are also a thing! When the magic cuts off, so will Chuuya, so this will not last long.
• He's going to be soaking in the hotsprings later on because he's going to be in a lot of pain after all of that, so a nice long soak is just what the doctor ordered.

❧ Pirate napping: Bricks is notorious for overplaying his hand with his sway rolls so I think it'd be very funny if he tries to cordially ask the pirates for a trip but ends up arousing too much suspicion and lands himself in the brig. Maybe someone visit him or be his jailmate for the boat ride?
❧ Randomized CR: I'd love for new CR to be his roommate! It'd be an easy opportunity to get a meet & greet thing going. I will still totally welcome established CR though. Let's hold hands and spoon/cuddle awkwardly to sleep.
❧ Idol: Bricks is also prime cross-dressing twink material!! Actually I think it'd be great if anyone wants to form an Idol Duo or even an Idol Trio. Maybe they can call themselves... Team Meowkit. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
He'll also pretty willingly engage with most of the silly contests, though he is
technically the comedic relief of his partycapable of whipping out some terrible puns so that might be a fun contest too.❧ Tree Time: He's not much a fighter but an ideal support character and could reasonably use small inventions/gadgets/bombs to help sabotage strategical parts of the tree roots/the wards. I'm also game to play out a dramatic escape sequence, though he's a twiggy boy and doesn't have a lot of stamina so maybe he'll need to be carried out.
❧ Normal Springs: relaxing in NORMAL SPRINGS? When does that ever happen? Also welcome new CR for this. I'm also fine to make these sexy springs if you desire.
disclaimer: I am still under a Work Deadline Crunch until September 30th, so massive apologies for the very slow tags lately, and unfortunately they will continue to be slow until the end of the month. If you're okay with that, hit me up! Otherwise I will completely understand giving me a pass/waiting until next time, or if you'd prefer to handwave previous/current/new threads.
