I want Troy to test himself against a SOLDIER. And for Yae to ara ara menace the country bumpkin.

Sure. Any idea how to do that, though? I can't think of ways for Troy to get into training matches without just outright asking for it. He tends to ignore the network.

but what if he got on that train— WAIT

We could always make it a coincidence! Cloud wouldn't mind offering if he ever saw Troy in a gym or a dojo. Or, if outdoors! Meeting/running into one another in person helps.

...that or get into a squatting contest.

Haha, I just thought of Troy actually camping out in the wild after talking to Vennessa about it. Not sure if Cloud is a nature kinda guy, I'm canonblind and only seen Advent Children years ago where Midgar is a post-apocalyptic place. Gyms would interest him but he'd probs not go there, the equipment probably won't be for a super. He'll do some Mr. Incredible workouts and bench press train cars or something lol.

Oh, absolutely! tl;dr answer, Cloud was actually born and raised in a countryside village. Not to mention that even when he thinks he's a former SOLDIER, he's still good at roughing it.

Stick him anywhere and he'll adapt! Troy bench pressing a steam train car would definitely get him to stop. LOL

I like that idea. He could be running errands and passes by a train depot and sees a train car going up and down lol.

Also Yae using him as her personal Uber Eats driver sounds funny to me.
