Giggle oh see there was this thing where you could cross from paradise to middle earth on foot over what was called the Grinding Ice. 2/3rd of Maglor's people did so out of spite after Maglor's dad burnt the boats. It took them roughly around 27 years. So if I was playing one of THOSE elves....XD
