Tanabata Festival Kio was happy to see a festival, more than happy to join in on the celebration though he wasn't all too certain about the stories and traditions. It was an excuse to have fun and for people to come together. There was a lot that you could learn about people based on their wishes, and about the people that they were wishing for. For the first part of the festival Kio wandered around, reading the different wishes, making a note of the names and the wishes of each. He didn't really think to add any of his own, mainly because things were pretty complicated and he wasn't exactly sure what to wish for, and partially because those he knew weren't here in this world so he didn't think a wish would be able to reach them.
With the flowers and stories though, Kio took a seat. He leaned forward and rested his elbow on his knee as he listened to many of them, laughing and sharing some of his own stories of fun times in school and with friends. Every so often as they played with the fire flowers he would take a moment to sketch the scene out, pulling out water colors and painting the scene in front of him. Capturing the excitement of the kids, or at times just capturing someone who seemed to be lost in thought or enjoying the display around them. He didn't really ask before he started sketching though when he was done he would offer it to them if they wanted it.
