Info: He used to be an angry thug and then he got some special Breathing Training so he could make spicy bubbles that could kill immortals in speedos. Info: Ranpo is a chuuni detective who spent twelve years thinking he had a magical ability to see the truth. In reality, he's just that smart, and can solve a murder with just one glance. Does that make him a dumbass or a genius?? We just don't know. Ego aside, he's a sweetheart who just wants to help people, even if he can be kind of a weirdo and manchild at times.
Game Plans: Ranpo's just arrived from a pretty intense canon point, and his current cast is nothing but enemies, so things are going swell!! He's going to be mostly just settling in and maybe taking this opportunity for a vacation. I'm planning to keep up with all my TDM threads, and will probably take things slow from there!
Seeking: Friends!! Ranpo can get along with just about anyone, but will automatically seek out people who are inherently kind, even if they suck at showing it (or maybe especially if they suck at showing it, he has a Type). The real question is whether they can get along with Ranpo, but to be honest, that's never really stopped him. I plan to do a slow burn with regards to smut and things, so I'll be keeping things mostly gen for now!

I'd also love to make more use of his "Ultra Deduction" (aka chuunibyo explanation for being infomod levels of smart) so if you have a character who is hiding something or you think it'd be interested for Ranpo to be able to see that they're more than they appear, hit me up!

Info: Higuchi is the "notice me, sempai" meme personified. She's an assassin who works for the Port Mafia, and despite having an overall pleasant personality, she can be downright bloodthirsty. She's coming in from a very intense canonpoint that involves some pretty major spoilers, so let me know if you want to avoid them!
Game Plans: AS MENTIONED Higuchi is coming in from a super intense canonpoint. Dealing with that is how she's going to be spending her first month or so, on top of just trying to settle in. Eventually I plan to bring in her little sister as an auxiliary character, who doesn't know about her life as a mafioso, so that could make for some interesting cr down the line!
Seeking: Friends...!! Specifically, drinking buddies, because no one in the mafia knows what healthy coping mechanisms are. She's staying in the dorms in Yoshiwara, so there's lots of fun opportunities for characters to meet up there! Obligatory ~~hot springs~~ public bath episode? Yes.

On an important note, seeing as she only ever had eyes for sempai, she's still a virgin and may need the help of booze or aphro to move past that. She'll probably be easier to woo than Ranpo, but still: hard mode.

Genbu is basically chaotic himbo incarnate. He's a tank with a giant cartoony axe, so he's always running headfirst into trouble. He's a healer's nightmare. He does have a serious side, but it's rare to catch him when he's serious.

Everyone is his friend, and everyone WILL get hugged and carried! (If ooc permissions allow) Also he will make puns. A lot.

Game Plans: He's still in shock and is wandering around aimlessly and in a daze in his bunny costume that he was wearing at the time. It's...an interesting sight for sure.
Seeking: Friends and friends and friends! Genbu might not seek a monogamous relationship but other than that, he's gonna do his best to get along with everyone.

Info: A night sparrow hanyoukai, Setsura is a preternatural mercenary and freelancer (Hand) who 'settled' into a 'regular' job as a manager and security @ the Hidden Moon Tea House in Tokyo and bodyguard of the retired god who owns said tea house, which is a tea house and sort of halfway house for preters and spiritually aware humans. As a Hand, she occasionally takes on bigger contracts given she's upper rank in her organization whilst plying information, educating the youngins she sponsors as Hand agents, and kicking people into shape for a price.

She's used to juggling a lot and going through some things toward the end of her first human lifetime, so what you see initially of her is absolutely not all you're going to get. There's A Lot More and I'm bad at short hand, so if you've got q's, hit me. CRAU details next month probably!

Game Plans: Intelligence work and adjustment. She's presently keeping her head down on the preternatural front by cloaking her spiritual energy signature and focused on learning what she can about this whole timey-wimey situation and the world she's found herself in in both mundane and preternatural flavors with an interest in her fellow refugees over... pausing in the face of the death anniversary of her previously surviving childhood friend, it's fine. She's fine. Her dog is here? I'll also be tl-ing and continuing threads on the TDM, so watch out!

Info: A vampire and a part-time cat. Or a cat that's a part time vampire, if you base it off his perpetually feline behavior. Possibly the laziest vampire you'll ever meet, and disinclined to make much effort. Also has a bucketload of issues, rusty social skills and the cause of pretty much 90% of his own problems. Likes to hide the fact that he's a dumpster fire behind laziness, escapism and sarcasm. Technically also an embodiment of the sin of sloth, but trying to learn to effort.
Game Plans: He's currently adjusting to being Alone Again without the presence of his eve/partner/master and wrestling with a sense of failure from canon events. It's probably not going to go too well for him at first, and though he's developed a lot in canon, he might backslide a bit here.

Smut Preferences: Uh, Shiemi is still figuring out romance let alone the hot and steamy stuff, so bear with me there! For right now, f/m with a 14 minimum, 2... 0 maximum? I'm expecting mostly gen at the moment!

Info: Shiemi is a weed who's doing her best. In the past year, with the help of friends, she finally stepped outside of the family home and business where she lived an extremely sheltered life and went to exorcist cram school, acquired an extremely cute demon flower child familiar named Nee, and eventually even went to normal school... before withdrawing due to SPOILERS. Chuuya loves wine but is also easy to provoke and fighty (not to mention loyal to a fault). this could be interesting.

I think there's some potential here. Setsura could be his short buddy, he has so few people he doesn't have to look up at to talk to. Also he loves a good fight and a good drink, so sparring and drinking buddy potential.

they are VERY similar and historically caesar ends up being I Will Die For You for people like that. they're either gonna be the worst of enemies or the best of friends and i'm so down for either one!!!

i'm VERY excited for this.

i super love their dynamic so far and even tho cae is eternally 'conceal don't feel @ friendship' he tends to care super hard about ppl, esp kind ones because they throw him off. i do think they could eventually form some kind of tentative friendship bc ranpo is just Soft.
