Got it in one!

[Come to think of it, there's some in the tree above them, too. But they haven't been causing any trouble yet.]

All that commotion last month was caused by these tree-looking things that created red clouds of magic pollen. These guys were just starting to bloom then, so they must have absorbed some of it! I've been watching to see if it's had any effect like the pollen did, but I haven't noticed anything yet.
