He's not sure whether to grimace or laugh at that comment. "Some places are better than this," is how he decides to explain it, though by some places he mostly means places their people made. Mortals are super cute, in his opinion, but they do have their flaws, and one of them is apparently lack of tidiness... "It doesn't seem like they did much planning when building the place. It's been an enjoyable experience, but I do miss Amaurot."

They reach the park, then travel down the walk to the fountain. The park is L-shaped, with the further leg being quieter; Hythlodaeus intends to find them a place to sit there.

"They do have good food here," he adds. "And lots of theatres. Have my parents started taking us to the afternoon shows yet? We used to look forward to those."
