She can see some parallels between his world and her own in that - plus she finds herself wondering about this Liyue he's from... Based on his name and the name of his country, it seems to bear a strong resemblance to the China of her world.

But she doesn't know enough about either country to draw comparisons, so she simply nods and hums. ]

Mm, fantasies like that are common where I'm from as well, there's actually a popular book series about the child of a human and a god. Though anyone... non-human only exists in myths and stories. Or, that's what the majority of the population thinks.
