New Player/Character? Yes to both hello there

⫸Character Info
Character Name: Emet-Selch
Canon: Final Fantasy XIV (+ Aefenglom CRAU)
Age: Old (well past 10,000 years, currently using a body that looks to be early 40s)
Smut Preferences: Unless there was something in particular to gain out of it, he wouldn't be terribly interested right off the bat, so it mostly comes down to chemistry/circumstance. He's a sentimental type at heart, but he's also extremely pragmatic and he's pretended enough lives so that like nothing is going to faze him at this point. Essentially: yes, if it makes sense for the characters.

Info: A tragic hero, trying to save both his people and his god from the machinations of those villains who would see them all buried under time and history. Alternatively, a member of an immortal ghost cult responsible for the deaths of millions, and a major antagonist! --Though he's somewhat retired now, being dead and all.

Which he's fine with, having come around somewhat to the idea that his time is past. Emet can still be kind of a dick, and though he's mellowed out a bit in his regards for humans/mortals, he's still extremely arrogant, with a flair for the theatrical and a generally casually flippant demeanor. He's also abjectly exhausted and extremely depressed, and something of a prickly sort in general. (What a charmer....) He can pretend to be nicer than he is, though.

Game Plans: Primarily settling in, as a new person would (collecting a new host body since he came in without one, making it look right, normal things like that)! This is not the afterlife experience he was expecting, his sleep is once again disrupted, what is even going on. But really a bit of everything, as he figures out what's even here in this place. Apart from some exasperation at being alive again, he'll probably want to learn what he can about how this world operates and... find out what to do with himself, with this new lease of life.

It's all new and unexpected, and since he doesn't have anything to go home to, he won't be in any particular rush to get back.

Seeking: The standard unhelpful reply of 'everything'~ But really I like just seeing what sticks.

Weirdly, he gets on best with friendly, eccentric sorts who can handle him being irritable and dour. But equally as grumpy sorts are also extremely welcome, let them grumble together. Even other unreasonably superior sorts, idk it'll probably be a mess but why not.

As a note, Emet-Selch can see souls, so if a character's is at all unusual/remarkable, that is also a point (though all souls are probably going to be a bit odd to him, as they're presumably different from his, but also not grotesque broken things) (hopefully).
